The 20-year-old forward was red-carded after just 39 minutes of the game against Rapid Wien last Sunday.
Although it was feared he will be missing several games, a review by the match panel in Austria served the Ghanaian with a two-game suspension which includes the match against Rapid.
Before Sunday’s game, the Ghanaian forward had received positive reviews from Rapid manager Dietar Kühbauer who was interested in signing the player last summer.
“It’s amazing how teams keep getting players,” said Kühbauer.
“I would have liked Yeboah very much at Rapid, I’ll admit that,” said Rapid’s head coach.
“It’s surprising how some clubs do it despite the pandemic. But that shouldn’t be my topic,” he concluded.
Kelvin Yeboah has played ten times for Sturm Graz this season and has a goal to his credit in the Austrian Bundesliga.
