Lionel Messi’s two-week suspension is effectively lifted, according to reports from RMC Sport and Canal+. The PSG forward made an early return to training this Monday, as announced by the club.
The Argentine trained individually at the Camp des Loges, PSG’s training ground, because his teammates were given the day off following their 3-1 away win at Troyes.
The 35-year-old had skipped last Monday’s training session – which was not cancelled as a result of the defeat to Lorient the previous day – in favor of his commitments as Saudi Arabia’s tourism ambassador.
The suspension reportedly covered training and match days, and would see his pay docked for the full two weeks.
