Mohammed Kudus and his West Ham teammates must be very frustrated with themselves after blowing a 3-1 lead in the match on Saturday afternoon at St. James’ Park.
The Black Stars midfielder, who was sporting a new look, scored late in the first half stoppage time to give West Ham a 2-1 lead after Jamaican international Michail Antonio had restored parity following Alexander Isak’s opener for Newcastle United.
This was Mohammed Kudus’ seventh Premier League goal after signing from Ajax this season.
Despite Jarrpd Bowen’s goal early in the second half to cushion the Londoners’ lead, Isak’s second, Barnes’ brace, and Gordon’s winner snatched victory from the Hammers.
