The Black Queens, the women’s national team of Ghana, performed admirably against Guinea in their return encounter in the first round of the 2024 Olympic Games qualifying competition, according to coach Nora Hauptle.
At the Accra Sports Stadium, they selected a commanding 4-0 victory over their West African rivals.

Evelyn Badu scored two goals for the Black Queens, who also demonstrated strong offensive play and solid defensive play. Princella Adubea and substitute Firdaus Yakuba also contributed to the tally.
“We levelled up against the first leg in Guinea. The pitch was much better, so our possession [of the ball] was good,” Hauptle said.
