Ghana Premier League champions FC Samartex 1996 will host Nsoatreman FC, Legon Cities, and Nations FC at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samreboi for the 2024 Nsenkyire Cup.
The pre-season tournament, which is aimed at honoring the Chairman of FC Samartex, Dr. Richard Nsenkyire, for his developmental work in the town of Sameraboi,.
Dr. Nsenkyire, ahead of the tournament, called on fans to troop to the Sports Arena to watch the beloved sides go head-to-head.
“They should all come and see them (old players and new players). They should not sit at home and receive reports that a player the club signed is not good.”
The host club will commence the cup competition with a cracking game against MTN FA Cup winners Nsoatreman FC on Friday, August 2, at 1 p.m.
Kassim Mingle’s Nations FC, at 4 p.m., will take on Legon Cities. All games will be streamed live on Max TV Ghana’s YouTube page.
