Nations FC defender Emmanuel Boahene has played down reports of him signing a three-year contract with Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
The full-back enjoyed an excellent 2023–24 season with Kassim Mingle’s side in their top-flight league debut.
“Talks with Kotoko are still ongoing, so if it goes well, then I am ready to play for them (Kotoko),” he said in an interview on Max 89.7 FM.
However, a Ghanaian football transfer expert, Shaban Mohammed shared on social media that the player is expected to sign a long-term deal with the Porcupine Warriors in the coming days.
