Music has been a great political tool for many politicians to sway and win the hearts of their target voters.
In light of this, singer and disc jockey (DJ), Mark Kwesi Arthur, known by his stage name DJ Azonto, has expressed his preparedness to sell the rights to his popular track “Fa No Fom” to any political party ready to do business with him.
He said his doors are open to any business-oriented political party, including the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), for the upcoming 2024 political campaigns.
DJ Azonto believed that the song was catchy and heartwarming enough to appeal to the emotions of voters when used as a flagship campaign song.
According to him, most of the parliamentary aspirants who appeared last on the ballot paper used his song to campaign in the recent NPP elections and that of the NDC last year.
He therefore expressed his readiness to negotiate with any political party that wishes to use his song for this year’s election.
DJ Azonto said he has decided to trade off this monster smash hit song in order to use the proceeds to buy his mother a Lamborghini and a house in East Legon.
