Ahead of the main awards night on Saturday, June 1, thousands of music lovers who thronged the Robert Mensah stadium on Saturday were treated to an unforgettable musical experience at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) Xperience Concert held at Cape Coast in the Central Region.
Despite the activity being interrupted by a heavy downpour, anticipation was high as attendees eagerly awaited performances from their top-notch stars, Stonebwoy, Kofi Kinaata, Adina, and Guru, among others.
Their anticipation was paid off as the multiple award-winning reggae/dancehall musician, Stonebwoy, delivered a memorable rendition of his hit tracks and displayed beautiful dance moves that captivated the audience and sent them to the groove.
King Paluta also sparked the night with his heartfelt music, making fans mimic the lyrics of his songs verbatim.
Tadi sensational, Kofi Kinaata rode the audience through classical sounds, which stole the night.
He performed his timeless hit tracks Confession, Thy Grace, and some songs on his newly released Extended Play album dubbed “Kofi oo Kofi.”
From the infectious beats of DJ sets to the captivating performances of unsung talents and established stars, the concert was a testament to the vibrant music scene in Ghana.
It was MCed by comedian Foster Romanus. The event was filled with laughter, excitement, and, most importantly, incredible music and performances, which thrilled the audience.
