Italian Serie B club, Palermo, has shown interest in signing Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Gyasi from Spezia as they aim to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
Fabio Lucioni, Palermo’s sporting director, is currently involved in advanced negotiations with Spezia to secure the services of Gyasi, who is the captain of the team.
However, a deal has not been finalized yet, and there is still work to be done before an agreement can be reached. Gyasi has one year remaining on his contract with Spezia, but talks of a contract extension have surfaced, indicating that he may be looking for a new opportunity elsewhere.
Both Palermo and Spezia will be competing in Serie B next season, with Spezia being relegated from the top flight in the previous season.
