Linda Eshun, captain for the Hasaacas Ladies, has joined Íþróttafélag Reykjavíkur (IR Football Club), a top-flight division team in Iceland.
The defender has previously played for Grindavik FC and is about to begin her second stint in Iceland.
Since 2014, Linda Eshun has competed for Ghana’s women’s national football team. In 2014, she participated in the African Women’s Championship.
The 27-year-old has prior American playing experience with Robert Morris College.
She participated in the recent Turkish Cup event with the Black Queen team, where Ghana finished in second place.
