An Italian football referee has been sacked by authorities of the Italy’s topflight league, Serie A.
The decision was reached to sacked the referee, Marco Serra, following his behaviour toward Jose Mourinho, during the U.S Cremonese-Roma match on 28th February.
The center referee sent the AS Roma coach to the stands after an altercation with fourth referee, Serra.
Mourinho told the Court of Appeals that he had asked for an explanation on a foul on defender Marash Kumbulla that hadn’t been given, to which he claimed to had been told by Serra to ‘mind your own f**king business’ in reply, leading to the altercation.
The former Real Madrid threatened to take legal action after he accumulated his third dismissal of the campaign during the game that his side lost 2-1.
