Sam Paa Kwesi Fabin has been named the new head coach of BetPawa Premier League team Legon Cities ahead of the upcoming campaign, the club has officially announced.
Maxwell Konadu, who left Legon Cites to join Nsoatreman FC a few days ago, is replaced by Fabin, who led Aduana Stars to a second-place finish in the Ghana Premier League last season.
Details of Fabin’s contract will be made public by Legon Cities in the coming days, but the former Kotoko coach is anticipated to start working on August 1 of 2023.
Kwabena Onyina Asenso, the deputy CEO, said: “We are excited to bring in an experienced coach like Fabin. He is a winner who has coached many big clubs at the highest level. We will provide him all the necessary support to succeed here. We are looking forward to having a wonderful season together.”
