Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has made a bold prediction, predicting that Manchester United would win the Premier League championship in the forthcoming season.
Redknapp thinks United will prevail despite Manchester City’s record treble-winning season last year and their strong summer purchases.
Erik ten Hag, the manager of United, was lauded by Redknapp for his strong performance during his first season with the team and for the group’s successful summer acquisitions.
He hailed Andre Onana as one of the top goalkeepers in the world and the arrival of Mason Mount to the midfield.
“I’m actually tipping the Premier League to stay in Manchester. Just not with the team everyone thinks.”
“Erik ten Hag did a great job in his first season at United and he’s another who has had a decent summer in the market.”
“I’ve always liked Mason Mount and he is a great addition to the midfield while Andre Onana is one of the best keepers in the world,” he wrote in his column for The Sun.
