According to a source who spoke to ESPN, Borussia Dortmund is prepared to give Jadon Sancho a way out of Manchester United in January.
Since his falling out with United manager Erik ten Hag, Dortmund have openly denied interest in signing their former player. However, a source has told ESPN that the German team might be interested in a January deal provided the financial terms were favorable.
The most likely scenario is a brief loan up until the end of the current campaign, however Dortmund would still require United to contribute to Sancho’s £300,000 weekly salary.
After spending four years with Dortmund in the Bundesliga, from 2017 to 2021, the 23-year-old is still highly valued there and keeps in touch with head coach Edin Terzic.
