Afrobeat sensation Kelvyn Boy is dismayed about the silence Mark Okraku Mantey has remained ever since he occupied the office as the Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts.
He took to his Twitter handle yesterday to express his concern for not seeing any policy transformation that would improve the industry when Mark occupied the position.
The “Down Flat” hitmaker stated that the minister, who doubles as a music producer, has surprisingly grown awfully silent while he was the extrovert type.
“OK so now to Creative Arts. Where is Okraku Mantey Dey? Since he became the Deputy Minister, for our space He’s grown awfully silent. For an outspoken, extrovert like Mark, I’m a bit surprised. What really dey go on?” he tweeted.
Aside from Kelvyn Brown as known privately, many industry players including Kwaku Manu have also expressed disappointment in Mark for not addressing the prevailing challenges in the industry.
