Voice coach and talent manager Freeman Daniel Ame has expressed the need for professionals to get a unique voice that will project their image.
According to him, many did not care about their voice image and paid much attention to their visual image instead.
Freeman, talking to Max Morning Agenda in Accra on Thursday, said the voice image was more powerful than the visual image, as that defined one’s personality.
He noted that some people with good appearances attract people to them but tend to lose their admirers once they speak.
The voice coach said it was high time that Ghanaians had to take a critical look at their voice to even help them in their endeavors.
“Why don’t we have to learn about our vocal image because every voice is as unique as a fingerprint? Voice is your original branding, and sound gives meaning to life,” he said.
Explaining the vocal image, Freeman said, “It is how people hear you and the impression you make based on the tone of your voice.”
He observed that the voice could be trained in a professional way for one to even boost his or her business, whether selling or communicating, stressing that the characteristics of one sound could make and unmake the person.
