Adwoa Amofa Arthur, the wife of Skyy FC’s owner and financier Wilson Arthur, has joined the technical staff as an assistant coach for the upcoming 2023–24 Division One League season.
He claims that his wife has earned the necessary coaching credentials and is qualified to start serving as newly appointed coach Boniface Ayipah’s assistant.
“We both [my wife and I] pursued our license D course together every job you have to be prepared, She will assist the substantive coach and I believe she will do the job well because she is a woman and would know how to manage the boys,” Wilson Arthur said in an interview.
Skyy FC was denied entry into the Ghana Premier League as a result of a point being taken away due to a protest made by Nations FC.
