Kumasi Asante Kotoko eased past Accra Lions 3-1 in a Ghana Premier League (GPL) match day 17 game.
The game which was played at the Baba Yara Stadium saw Kotoko strike first.
Cameroonian striker Frank Etouga Mbella beat Lions goalkeeper Asare in his near post in the 5th minute.
He added another from the spot kick in the 45th minute but Accra Lions also won a penalty and Kelvin Kyei scored to make it 2-1.
After the recess Accra Lions pushed to get a goal back but it was Kotoko that got a last minute goal to make it 3-1.
Frank Mbella was put through on goal and he made no mistake as he rounded the goalkeeper to make it 3-1.
Kotoko who are on top of the Ghana Premier League table will play Hearts of Oak in an outstanding game next week.
