Cameroonian striker Frank Etouga Mbella hit a brace as Kotoko beat Great Olympics 2-0.
The GPL Week 15 game was played at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Kotoko started the better of the two sides and won themselves a penalty early in the game when Mbella was brought down by Ebenezer Sekyere.
Mbella stepped up and calmly slotted the ball home t make it 1-0 to Kotoko.
The second soon followed and it was not as beautiful as the first as Mbella’s scuffed shot beat the goalkeeper and it was 2-0 at halftime.
The second half did not produce any goals as the game eventually ended 2-0.
Kotoko now lead the Ghana Premier League table and have now points more than Aduana who are second.
