Dr. Tony Aubynn, a board member of Medeama SC, lost the race to win a position on the Ghana Football Association Executive Council on Thursday.
The shrewd football executive lost his post after failing to receive enough votes in a keenly watched race for one of the most sought-after seats in the Ghana Premier League.
Tony Aubynn had been competing for one of the five seats allotted to the 18 clubs in the Ghana Premier League, but his chances have gotten much worse. He received 7 votes, but it wasn’t enough to keep his seat.
