Former Manchester United goalkeeper Romero made two saves in the penalty shootout as Boca won 4-2.
On November 4th, they will compete against the Brazilian team Fluminense for the trophy.
Boca defeated Uruguayan team Nacional and local rivals Racing Club in the first two rounds of the penalty shootouts to go to the final.
