The episode begins with Cardo scolding Alyana for trying to catch a ride upon knowing that there’s a killer on the loose. He then insists on giving her a ride home. Upon reaching the destination, Alyana thanks him and Cardo in turn shows his appreciation for the spring rolls and helping out with the case. He then waits out until she’s safely inside her house.
Rachel asks her dad why he and her mom have not been talking. Tomas fails to trivialize the matter and resorts to making some lame-ass promise. Rachel tries to reconcile her parents but Verna refuses to go along with the flow. While JP teases his sister with having a crush on the cop she “idolizes”, Cardo drives around town in hopes of spotting the serial killer.
The next morning, Alyana brings cake for everyone and some spring rolls for Cardo to thank him for bringing her home last night. Later, Cardo’s buddies tease him yet again as they enjoy the cake. Meanwhile, Eric is at home staring longingly at some knives. As he reaches out to grab one, his brother’s appearance halts him. Eric then goes back to enjoying his cup of coffee. Or whatever the hell he’s been drinking.
Cardo orders Benny to go straight home after work, but the guy makes a joke about not being the killer’s next target. Cardo charges him not to joke around because a lot of people have died. He then tells him to have grandma Flora lock the doors and not wait for him.
“You sure you don’t want me with you?” Benny asks. “You might need my skills out there.”
“No need,” Cardo declares. “This is a dangerous mission. The serial killer’s a lunatic. I can’t assure your safety.”
Cita tries to convince Verna to patch things up with her husband since their daughter is being affected the most. Verna however refuses to put up a pretense. Cita then suggests that she tell Rachel the truth if she really wants to protect her.
Edwin goes through the CCTV footage and realizes that his brother has been sneaking out at night. Later, with Eric present, he watches the news concerning the checkpoints the police have set in town in hopes of catching the serial killer. Eric puts up a front and Edwin decides to keep an eye on him so he can find out what he’s really been up to.
While Cardo drives around town, Eric goes out again, but this time not in a taxi. Edwin tails him. Coming upon a homeless woman and her child, Cardo hands her some food he’s been carrying. As Benny and the kids are goofing off about their non-existent self-defense skills at home, Eric picks up Lara, the mistress he had taken her number some time ago.
Tomas plays good daddy with Rachel at Verna’s expense. Having found her crying over the matter, Don Emilio suggests that she tell her daughter the truth and make her understand how spectacular their lives are – the family business, I mean. Verna is appalled at the idea.

With Jerome and his men are occupied with their baseless checkpoints, Edwin keeps on his brother’s tail but eventually losses him when he suddenly speeds up, scaring the crap out of mistress Lara. Eric pulls over at a deserted place. The young woman – let’s call her madame mistress for the sake of clarification – begins acting frantic and scared as Eric pulls on his murderous gloves. And then his favorite knife.
Cardo is still driving around as Edwin tries to track down his psychotic brother. Meanwhile, Eric shushes madame mistress but she somehow escapes from him after spraying perfume in his face. Eric goes after her. A moment later, Edwin finds his brother’s car.
Madame mistress trips and falls from a flight of stairs in her rush to safety. Eric taunts her with his presence and an epic disappearing act. Eventually, he blindsides and overpowers her. Mistaking her (and every other woman for his abusive aunty) Eric takes down madame mistress with a single stab. And then another. And then another. And it goes on.
Coming upon the scene, Edwin almost gets himself stabbed by his psychotic brother. After making a futile attempt at talking some sense into him, Edwin takes the murder weapon from his brother and orders him to run. His brain probably in standby mode, Edwin carries the body into his taxi and gets behind the wheel.
Verna almost has a “heart attack” upon realizing that her daughter’s gone missing. A moment later, Tomas arrives home with their daughter. Turns out he had taken her along to one of his rare legal business. Verna asks why they had gone out without informing her and clueless daughter gives her attitude.
Soon enough, Verna confronts her wretched husband about playing the good father to make it look like she’s the bad parent.
“You’re only blowing things out of proportion,” Tomas says.
“No, I’m not. You’re a criminal!” Verna declares. “That’s the issue.”
“That wasn’t an issue before you decided to marry me. You knew what I was doing.”
“You swore to me that you will change. But now the situation’s different. It’s worsening. Can’t you put that in your thick skull?!”
Tomas is indifferent. “Why don’t we just tell our daughter about the truth? She might be more understanding.”
Verna is appalled. “What kind of father are you?”
“I’ve made my decision. Maybe it’s time you made yours as well.”
“Are you threatening me?”
“I am just asking you… to make a decision. Because if this kind of life isn’t what you signed up for, then…”
“Then what?”
“Then I’ll go. Or you’ll go.”
“So it’s come to this,” Verna states. “You would really choose your business over me.”
“This is not about choice,” Tomas declares. “I am the same man I was when you met me. I am what I am. And I’ll always be this way. Talk to our daughter. Ask her if she wants to go with you.”
“You’re only saying this because you know Rachel wouldn’t want to leave with me.”
Rachel tries to get details from her nanny as to why her mom is so upset with her dad. However, Cita evades her questions. Meanwhile, Edwin pulls over somewhere and begins carrying the body out of the car’s trunk. He however stops his foolishness as he notices a car approaching. I bet you know who it is. Yep. It’s our most beloved enforcer of the law. Cardo.
“Is there a problem?” Cardo asks.
“I’m good,” Edwin replies. “Just a little car trouble.”
“Let me help you out.”
While Eric the psycho killer is driving around town, Cardo checks out Edwin’s taxi and eventually notices some blood seeping out from the car’s trunk. Identifying himself as a police officer, Cardo orders him to open the trunk of his car.
“Just a second,” Edwin says as he gets into the car.
Cardo’s in the act of opening the trunk when Edwin suddenly speeds away. Getting into Rambo, Cardo chases him while calling Jerome for backup. As the high speed chase drags on, Edwin foolishly grabs his gun and begins firing at Cardo and Cardo gladly returns the favor. Edwin is hit in the shoulder. An incoming car forces him to come to a sudden halt. Edwin gets down from the car and resumes firing again and as Eric watches silently, Cardo guns down his big brother.
