General Borja charges his men to keep the allegations against the congressman confidential until evidence is found against him. Later, the rotten “public servant” is invited over and interrogated on account of Marlon’s accusation. Randolf puts on a show and takes offense.
Cardo apologizes but persists with his questions. “Is it true that you didn’t know Marlon Aguilar?”
“You’re a stubborn one,” Randolf grunts. “Clearly you lack a brain, because if you had one, you won’t be wasting my time!” After ranting some more crap, the miserable swine walks out.
Linda is taken to visit his husband and son’s graves. Quiet remorseful, she holds onto the belief that they’ll be together someday. Either in heaven or hell I couldn’t tell. Meanwhile at Camp Crame, Joaquin the jackass suggests that they find other suspects. Cardo gives him a look and exchanges a few choice words with him. Delfin orders them to investigate if Marlon had other connections who could be the mastermind behind the bombings. However, he makes it clear that they won’t let the congressman off the hook.
Congressman Subito is making a spectacular mess of his office in anger, just as Tomas decides against killing him to avoid any suspicions. “But for now all we can do is, ride the wretched congressman’s wave of insanity.”
Delfin asks Cardo if he thinks the congressman was telling the truth. Cardo isn’t so sure but vows to get to the bottom of the matter. Delfin then assigns him with a drug case involving high-profile users and sellers. Later, team Cardo is briefed about the Lightning Club, the hangout of the drug users and dealers.
Onyok is downcast when he learns that Cardo won’t be coming to pick him up to see the doctor. As Flora and the others try cheering him up, Cardo soon arrives and tells the boy that he’s going to get what he promised him before. A moment later, Junior shows up much to the surprise of everyone. Onyok is glad to have him over, and so is grandma Flora and the rest of the family. As Edgar and Nora join them, Onyok thanks Cardo for bringing Junior to visit them.
Junior rambles on about how well he’s been doing in school and how much he missed them all, especially his best friend Onyok. Later, Flora thanks Edgar and Nora for bringing Junior to visit them. Eventually, Edgar reveals their plan of staying in the province for good since Manila is too chaotic for them, no thanks to all the recent bombings.
Cardo takes Onyok for his therapy, along with Junior, Makmak and Benny. He’s made to recount his happy memories and the doctor rewards him with a bag of candy after the session is over. The doctor then commends Cardo for bringing Junior along which helped in Onyok’s recovery. Later, the entire family go out on a picnic and share some moments together.
The congressman meets up with Don Emilio and Tomas, bringing along some armed men. He renders an excuse of an apology. Tomas plays along and even allows himself to be hugged.
“I know for a fact that I shouldn’t just be weary of the PNP,” Randolf thinks to himself. “I’ve gotta watch out for you two demons.”
“Do you really think you can scare us with your small army? They’re nothing. I’ll still bring you down.”
At the Lightning Club, Richmond sells some drugs to an associate as an undercover cop spies. Meanwhile at Camp Crame, Benny tips off Alyana about the CIDG’s plan to raid the Lightning Club the very night. Without hesitation, Alyana hurries over to the place with her cameraman.
Alyana covers the story at the Lightning
Richmond woos Lorraine into hanging out with his group. She’s all happy and smiling until she discovers that they’re into drugs. Outside, Alyana asks Pinggoy to start recording upon the police and the CIDG’s arrival. Cardo has a word with Jerome before proceeding inside to raid the place.

While Cardo orders the officers to search everyone, a clueless Richmond is in the washroom trying to talk Lorraine into trying the drugs when Jerome comes upon the scene. Both Jerome and Lorraine stare in shock at each other. Snapping out of it, Jerome apprehends Richmond after confiscating his drugs.
“My dad is the congressman,” the spoilt brat grumbles. “Let go of me.”
“I don’t care,” Jerome snaps.
During the search, some egoistic councilor begins making a scene about the police not having a search warrant or the right to be there. Cardo stares nonchalantly, causally chewing his gum as the guy makes an ass of himself.
“Do you have a search warrant, you fool?” the councilor taunts.
Cardo looks bored. “Well… councilor.” Without warning, Cardo slaps him with a bag of drugs and the guy drops like a punctured hot air balloon.
Soriano brings in Richmond who’s still acting tough and rambling his nonsense. Cardo just stares at him blankly as the councilor rises to his feet and urges Rich to tell them who his father is.
“It doesn’t make a difference,” Cardo snaps. “You could be the president’s son for all I care.”
Richmond keeps acting cocky. “My dad is Congressman Subito.”
For a moment, Cardo is taken by surprise. He however recovers and resumes chewing his gum. Outside, Alyana tries interviewing a governor but fails miserably. Once inside, the rotten politician whose son is among the apprehended makes a stupid attempt to bribe Cardo but he rejects his offer and orders for the suspects to be taken away. Cardo hustles Richmond along as the boy still talks his nonsense. Alyana tries to interview Cardo but doesn’t get anything concrete.
At Camp Crame, Cardo and his team bring in the suspects as well as the evidence. Enter General Delfin who rambles on about how the young crooks are ruining their lives when they’re supposed to be the hope of their country. Some parents soon arrive to learn of the situation. Jerome stares at a scared Lorraine as Billy orders for the suspects to be taken in for further investigation.
“So you are that girl’s guardian?” Cardo asks.
“I am, Dalisay,” Jerome replies. “Her mother and my mother are sisters. Her mother’s in Dubai, so I’m looking after her for the meantime.”
“I feel bad for her mother,” Cardo says. “It’s like that girl didn’t value her hardwork at all. Do you think she’s involved in selling drugs just like congressman Subito’s son?”
“She’s not. But if we prove she’s involved in this, then she’ll have to face it.
Sometime later, congressman Subito and his wife arrive at Camp Crame and demands for the immediate release of his son. Delfin refuses to grant him his wish and the miserable swine accuses them of planting evidence. Carreon speaks against that and Randolf goes on to make a scene, singling out Cardo.
“You accused me of being the mastermind behind the recent bombings,” Randolf begins as Cardo stares back at him in challenge. “You arrested my son. You ruined his future. How much did they pay you, Dalisay? I’ll double it you fool!”
“Your son was caught in the act of selling drugs at the club,” Delfin states. “And the people in the area confirmed that he’s not just a user. He also supplies illegal drugs to them.”
“I know the process,” the scumbag says. “I’m a lawmaker, remember? Release my son, General Borja.” He then turns back to Cardo and spouts some more crap. “General, Colonel, and… SPO2 Dalisay, if you don’t release my son within 24 hours, then I hope you’re already. To take me on.”
