Verna sets out to buy off her private investigator with 5 million bucks so he would stop threatening their family. While she closes in on the meeting place, Cita discreetly texts Tomas the location. A moment later, Verna meets up with the PI turned blackmailer who demands for much more.
As they argue, Tomas & Joaquin come upon the scene. The blackmailer takes Verna hostage and the Tuazons open fire on him. The greedy scoundrel drops dead, though Tomas ends up getting shot in the process.
Cardo and his unsuspecting family are still entertaining Eric/Erwin in their house.
Meanwhile, Alyana interviews Mrs. Zeny, asking her about her daughter. She brings up the fact that some of the murdered women were having affairs with married men. The older woman gets upset and asks her to leave. Alyana apologizes and as she turns to leave, Mrs. Zeny confirms her suspicions. Later, Alyana comes to inform Cardo of her recent discovery. Cardo is doubtful until Jerome confirms that all four victims once had affairs with married men. Erwin looks on silently.
“That means we have to investigate Edwin Maniego’s whole family,” Cardo states. “So we can determine the killer’s motive.”
At the Tuazon residence, Tomas gloasts about how he always keeps his promise to protect Verna and his family while she keeps putting them in danger over and over again. For all his troubles, Verna rewards him with a slap before walking off. At the city jail, Apollo beats up some guys who try to gang up on him. At camp Crame, Alyana tells Cardo that she doesn’t want any friction between them, adding that it matters to her what he thinks about her.
Cardo merely smiles. “I’m impressed by you. Because you’re not like other reporters. You actually care about the welfare of your subjects.”
“I can see you have the same compassion too, sir,” Alyana says. “That’s why I really admire you.”
Cardo makes a face.
“You do know that, right?”
“Does this mean that you’ve got an MU?” Benny cuts in.
“Whats an MU?” Cardo asks.
“Mutual understanding. You admire each other. That’s how it starts.”
“How what starts?”
“You know, chief. Partnership. You’re a policeman. I’m a police asset. Miss Alyana’s a reporter. And Pinggoy’s the cameraman. Fantastic.”
As Alyana smiles, Cardo just stares nonchalantly. Amd then he drops the bomb. “I don’t like it. Because I don’t want you two putting your lives in danger.”
“There goes your bright idea,” Pinggoy teases Alyana.
A vengeful Apollo is itching to get out and have his revenge on the cop who sent him to jail – Pablo de Leon. Verna is upset that Cita’s actions has added one more name to the people who have died by her family’s hand. She soon begins arguing with her miserable son over their illegal business. Rachel finds her dad drunk and having a nosebleed. She asks him about it and Tomas claims he had just gotten into an accident. Meanwhile, psycho Eric spies on team Jerome. “You’ll never be able to catch me,” he says to himself. “I’ll kill you all one by one.”

Jerome orders Rigor to do a full background check on Edwin Maniego since sir Dante from forensics has new info for them. Speaking of, Dante pulls over outside the precinct with some evidence which could link Rhoda’s death to the others. In stalk mode, psycho Eric dons his gloves and creeps up on Dante with a knife, asking if he’s the one he’s looking for. Having connected the dots and realized that Eric is the actual murderer, Dante makes a vain attempt to escape. Eric knifes him and drags him along to a more private place. Dante manages to escape but Eric catches up with him and finishes him off. He then proceeds to burn the evidence, wondering if he was the only one who knew the truth about him.
Cardo has a talk with some watchmen, charging them to stay alert. “We’ll work together to catch this murderer. It doesn’t really matter where these killers hide. I still always find them no matter what. And whoever this is, I’ll make sure he pays.”
Erwin puts up another show at the expense of Cardo and his family, claiming to have been bullied on his way over. Flora considers reaching out to a social worker to help with Erwin’s safety. Jerome still can’t seem to reach Dante on phone though he finds his car outside and begins to wonder where he is. The next morning, Onyok is playing basketball with Erwin when the madman elbows the poor boy.
Flora and the others come upon the scene and the psycho puts up an apologetic act. Thanks to Makmak’s misplaced counsel, Onyok patches things up with Erwin and tries to go through his bag for some of his sweets. The madman snaps and scares the crap out of the little boy, basically threatening the entire family.
Having lost one of their buyers to a rival, a Wilson Liu, Don Emilio and Tomas give Joaquin a new job. A moment later, Joaquin the jackass makes a presentation to the CIDG team about the supposed tip he had received from an asset. Not wanting anymore competition, Tomas and Don Emilio order Joaquin to “kill them all”. Soon enough, the CIDG raid the factory where the meth lab is in operation. A full-on gun battle ensues. Cardo saves Chikoy from being gunned down as the officers shoot their way inside. However, the leader, Wilson Liu manages to escape. Chikoy thanks Cardo for saving his life.
At camp Crame, Benny apologizes to Alyana for not telling her about the raid earlier which involves a so-called big-time drug lord. Alayana doesn’t mind, though she expresses her worry for Cardo’s safety. Cardo arrives just then and Alyana asks how his raid had gone.
“How did you find out?” Cardo asks. “That was fast.”
Silently, Benny signals Alyana not to reveal her source and she evades the question. She then begins fretting over a cut on Cardo’s cheek. “The next time around, please be careful,” Alyana begins. “Because…”
“Because what?”
“A lot of people worry about you.”
“Like who? Like you?”
“No, sir. Not me. I mean…your whole family. They worry about you.”
“And here I thought you do.” And with that, Cardo walks off.
“Seems like something’s in the air,” Benny comments. “I think I’ve started to notice. You know…”
Alyana plays dumb as Benny goes on with his comical act. Girl can’t seem to stop smiling.
At the de Leons, some watchmen come to announce the missing officer as well as the fingerprint evidence concerning the investigation into the death of Rhoda. Benny calls to inform Alyana. At the city jail, Apollo is released. Meanwhile, Verna finds some drugs in her husband’s personal stash. She slams it on the bed and begins lamenting to Cita.
“Tomas will always be an addict,” Verna wails as Rachel slips into the room. Little girl, daddy’s girl takes offense and starts acting out. Verna looks on in glorious disbelief.
In an act of first class stupidity, Wilson Liu charges into Tomas’ territory with some lackeys of his. The idiot holds Tomas at gunpoint and confronts him about telling the cops the location of his drug lab. Big-time drug lord my ass. Even with the gun aimed at his face, Tomas just stands there as if he’s already bored. Don Emilio, Joaquin and Froilan and some other goons join the party.
“You don’t know me,” Tomas merely says before disarming Wilson and punching him just for good measure. The scoundrel tries getting up and Tomas kicks him down. The guns come into play as the Tuazons and Don Emilio execute their adversaries in spectacular fashion.
