Black Stars versatile wingback Tariq Lamptey has lost his older sister, Basira.
Basira, an influential figure in the Ghanaian international’s career, passed away on Saturday night in Accra.
Believed to be in her late 40s, she was buried on Sunday afternoon, according to Islamic customs.
Basira managed the Tariq Lamptey foundation and has been with the player throughout the foundation’s official activities in Ghana.
