As part of the Asafotufiami festival, the Zone 2 Matchday 8 of the GFA Beach Soccer Premier League was graced by GFA President Kurt ES Okraku.
As special guests for the event, the GFA President was accompanied by the Queen Ada Naana Kabukour Dagojor Dumaaley I, the former Youth & Sports Minister Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, and the head of the Beach Soccer League Organizing Committee Yaw Ampofo Ankrah.
Ocean Stars defeated Vodza Iron breakers 5-0 in the opening game of the day, keeping beach soccer fans and festival attendees in Ada entertained.
In the second game, Sunset Sports and Kedzi Miracle played an exciting match that ended 5-5 at the end of regulation.
Ada Assurance lost to Havedzi Mighty Warriors 3-0 in the final game of the day, failing to placate their thronging crowd in the arena.
The La Boma Beach Soccer Arena will host Zone 1 matches the following weekend.
