In the 79th minute, the 17-year-old Spanish forward replaced another young player, Fermin Lopez, and scored practically right away.
He did so more quickly than any other player in the club’s history, scoring his first league goal for Barcelona.
With their victory, third-placed Barcelona pulled even with Real Madrid, whom they will face the following Saturday.
