Coco Yoshizawa beats top contenders to gold at the women’s street skateboarding event at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
In an all-teenage final, the 14-year-old scored 272.75 points from her three best runs.
She outscored fellow Japanese, 15-year-old Liz Akama, who took silver, and Brazilian, Rayssa Leal, who took bronze, at the Place de la Concorde on Sunday, July 28.
The skateboarding resumes on Monday, with the men’s street event postponed until Saturday.
