Chelsea Football Club has announced the signing of Spanish starlet, Marc Guiu from FC Barcelona.
The youngster has signed a six-year contract with the Blues after enjoying a good season with the Catalan giants.
Enzo Maresca agreed to the move of Guiu as Chelsea triggered the €6 million release clause on his contract with Hansi Flick’s side.
The ‘La Masia’ product couldn’t hide his excitement after putting pen to the deal with Chelsea’s website.
Meanwhile, there are reports gaining momentum about Chelsea’s interest in Italian defender Ricardo Calafiori, who has been praised for possessing a mixture of qualities of Italian legends Maldini and Nesta.
