On December 2, 2024, there will be special voting for the 2024 presidential and parliamentary candidates, according to the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Ghana, Jean Mensah.
“The special voting will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, in all the 275 constituencies in the country,” she disclosed at a meeting with the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) and representatives of the security forces on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
The Ghana Armed Forces, National Intelligence Bureau (NIB), National Security, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Information Services Department, National Ambulance Service, Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority, Prisons Service, Ghana Journalists Association, Ghana Police Service, and the National Media Commission are the privileged bodies to participate in the special election.
