The project consultant for the flyover on the Tema Motorway Interchange at Flowerpot, Emmanuel Kobla Degbotse, has confidently stated it will be completed in June 2024.
The 800-meter-long project, which starts from the Palace Mall and ends on the East Legon Boundary Road, commenced on March 7, 2017.
He disclosed during the visit of Minister of Roads and Highways, Francis Asenso-Boakye, to the site that the project is 95 percent complete and, with permission from the Ministry, the Accra-bound road will be open to commuters.
“We have five percent left, and if the Ministry of Roads and Highways gives us the go-ahead, we can open the Accra bound in June, and in another four months, which should be in October, we should finish the entire project.”
The Honourable Minister expressed his satisfaction at the work done so far: “I am very impressed with the schedule of work.”
