The first round of the 2023 ‘THE SUPER LEAGUE GHANA’ will come to an end this Saturday, December 16, at the Accra Academy Astro Turf constructed by former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.
The self-funded competition has yet to gain sponsorship since its inception in 2021, and the organizers are looking forward to gaining lucrative sponsors in the coming days.
The amateur football competition aims at bringing talents from all over the community to exhibit their talents through an 8-member competition with an 11-aside selection play from an initial six teams and seven aside play in a two-legged format at the same venue.
Some teams participating in this year’s competition are; Aidies Football Club, Accra Blue, MET Madrid, CP FC, Crystal Palace, Ravens FC, Royal OT FC, AC PROFS SC
This is to help organizers gain professional contracts for exceptional talents spotted in the competition in the coming days.
