Ghanaian clubs will be allowed to play in the CAF Champions League next season if only they are affiliated with women’s football side.
This is because of the directive from CAF to all member associations indicating that clubs that will participate in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup need to have a women’s football team.
The directive notes that only clubs with women’s football teams will be granted the license to take part in the two continental inter-club competitions.
