In the Swiss Super League, FC Zurich defeated Lugano 3-0 with Daniel Afriyie-Barnieh bagging a brace.
The former Hearts of Oak striker doubled his team’s lead on Saturday night at the Letzigrund Stadion.
Afriyie-Barnieh scored the game’s first goal in the 68th minute to give his team the lead after a scoreless first half.
Before being substituted by Ivan Santini in the 85th minute, he proceeded to score a second goal in the 76th minute.
In the Swiss top division’s first three games, Barnieh has currently scored two goals.
