Junior gets into a fight with a mate at school. Said mate’s father starts hustling him and who will come to his aid? That’s right. JTJ – ‘Joaquin The Jackass’. Mother and son actually seem impressed. Ewww. Meanwhile, Cardo borrows a phone and updates Delfin on their current situation, asking that he keep things from Mike until Trina’s safety is guaranteed.
As Glen pays tribute to her fallen comrades and griefs, her parents back home are considering talking her into quitting the force for her safety. Cardo soon makes it home, much to his family’s delight. He then introduces Trina. And his family. Onyok hides behind Benny.
“And that little kid over there, is Onyok,” Cardo says.
Onyok pokes his head out, making his usual funny faces. “Hello, miss Trina.”
Trina laughs and returns the favor. “Hi, Onyok.”
During dinner, Trina mentions how Cardo had saved her from the rebels. Grandma Flora is worried but Onyok says the criminals are no match for Cardo, going on about how he had been fighting groups of rebels back in Botolan.
“I know that,” Trina says with a smile. “He saved my life. He’s my hero.”
Fritz overhears some employees badmouthing Trina, wishing that she doesn’t come back so they can have some peace of mind. While Cardo asks his grandma to allow Trina stay over until it’s safe for her to go back home, Fritz scolds the employees, reminding them of how Trina had helped them when they were faced with challenges.
As Cardo gets ready to leave to report to the office, Onyok marches in and salutes. “Sir! I will look after miss Trina for you, sir!”
Trina is amused. “You’re so cute,β she comments.
Benny mentions how Trina’s outfit is loose on her. “You sure it’s fine? Those are chief’s (Cardo’s) clothes.”
“No, thank you. I’m really okay with this.”
“Chief, miss Trina isn’t a bad person after all,” Benny begins. “You were telling us before that…”
Cardo is exasperated.
“Hey, Cardo,” Onyok chimes in. “Didn’t you used to say that miss Trina was a mean-hearted lady?”
“No, I didn’t say anything,” Cardo replies. “What I said was, she’s pretty… and nice. That’s what I told you.”
“Cardo, I perfectly understand,” Trina cuts in, amused. “I know I have my flaws as a person.”
Cardo calls Glen and asks about the ordeal she’s been through. Diverting, Glen suggests that they meet up when she’s done with her training. After hanging up, she however sobs over her emotional scars and how it’s had a deep impact in her determination to stay a cop. Later, Cardo informs Delfin and Carreon about the motive for Trina’s kidnapping.
Mike comes to the precinct to ask of his stepdaughter’s whereabouts. Cardo evades his question. Delfin reveals that she’s in a safehouse, though he refuses to take him to her for his own “protection”. Mike presses and Cardo gives him attitude, which leads him to suspect that Cardo knows something about him.

As Trina has a talk with grandma Flora and Onyok about Cardo, she notices the elder woman burning up with a fever and goes ahead to take care of her. She then reminisces about her mother and how she’s in heaven with her dad.
“So you’re all alone now?” Onyok asks.
“I’ve still got my uncle Mike,” Trina replies. “He’s my stepfather. And there’s Fritz.”
“Who’s Fritz by the way?”
“A good friend of mine.”
“Am I your good friend too, miss Trina?”
“Sure you are.” Trina makes a face, allowing the little boy to flirt with her. “Would you like that?”
“I like that. Of course. Awesome!” Such puppy love.
Arriving home, Cardo thanks Trina for taking care of his grandma. Meanwhile, Joaquin The Jackass has grown into a childish brat, packing up his things to move out since his parents don’t support his foolishness and obsession with Carmen.
Insisting on cleaning Cardo’s shoes, Trina thanks him for everything he’s done for her. As they’re transfixed, all smiles and staring intensely at each other, Onyok walks in on the scene and coughs deliberately in annoyance. He snubs Cardo and offers Trina a cup of coffee. Trina thanks him and passes it on to Cardo.
Cardo gladly takes a sip. “Onyok, thanks for this.”
Onyok gives him a begrudging look. “Welcome!” As he stalks off, he makes a ‘I got my eyes on you’ sign at Cardo. Cardo mocks him in return. Trina laughs. Later, Cardo takes her to her room, only for Onyok to kick him out so he can sleep beside her.
The next morning, still in Cardo’s oversized clothes, Trina is actually dancing and doing some house chores with Onyok. She later makes breakfast for the entire family.
The CIDG team discuss the smuggled guns they had retrieved. Cardo is certain that the syndicate is working with a tailor shop.
“Delisay is surely hiding something from me,” Mike says to one of his goons. “And they are keeping Trina’s location a secret.”
“Maybe Trina found out about your activities.”
“But I’m sure they don’t have enough evidence. That’s why they haven’t had me arrested. Keep an eye on Delisay. Find out where they are keeping Trina.”
Cardo updates Fritz about Trina and informs Delfin and Carreon his suspicion of Mike using Rosella to smuggle guns. Meanwhile, Carmen’s 1st class foolishness in being manipulated and fooled by Joaquin The Jackass is beyond my understanding.
Cardo calls home and informs Trina that he’ll be transferring her to the headquarters in order to ensure her safety. Onyok is downcast. Arriving home, Cardo reveals Mike’s involvement in a gun smuggling case amd how he’s using Trina’s business to ship the guns into the country. As Trina thanks the family for their hospitality and bids them goodbye, a henchman of Mike spies.
“Trina is with Delisay,” the scumbag says over the phone. “He took her to his family’s house.”
“This only means they already know about me,” Mike states. “Get rid of those two now.”
While Joaquin and Carmen are both making fools out of themselves, Cardo hits the road with Trina and soon notices that they’re being followed. He puts up a fight and eventually outsmarts the scumbags. Consumed with rage, Cardo drags out the loan survivor and levels his gun on him as Trina looks on.
“Don’t shoot,” the scoundrel cries out. “I have kids waiting for me. Have mercy. I have children, sir.”
Cardo clenches his teeth and strikes him.
“Aw. That hurt. Have mercy. I’m a father, sir. Please, don’t kill me.”
The episode ends as Cardo, his gun still trained on the scumbag, stares back at Trina.
